Thanks for the GREAT jump on Saturday! Skydiving was never something I had even remotely thought about, but my sister said go, so I went! I had an absolutely phenomenal time with Brian as my instructor! I feel very fortunate to have gone up with Brian  it was professional, relaxing and most of all FUN! Brian showed me a lot of specials as well as what I was looking at from the sky! This is an experience I will NEVER forget! And thanks for the video opportunity! It is the BEST!!! You have a great organization! Dianne Peterson My first jump was Saturday 8-14.  I have been wanting to do it for years and finally with my sister and her husband we went! Brian P. was my instructor and he was great! Everything I learned prior to the jump I promptly forgot as soon as the plane door opened! It was at that point that I was scared but Brian made the plunge and off we went for a truly incredible experience! The landing was not as graceful as I wanted but that again was my fault as the a drenaline was pumping! I must hand it to Brian for his patience and sense of humor, he helped make a fabulous memory! I bought another jump right away so I will be back! THANK YOU BRIAN AND SKYDIVE TWIN CITIES!! Julie Spehn Aug 14, 2010 It is my first tanden skydiving experience. I really loved it. The video and pictures are very awesome !!!! It is worthy. I felt I want to do again because so quick 10 minutes plane and skydiving and landfall. I think I may like to do again next time. I want to congraulute to Luke who took video/pictures of me so awesome pictures/video wow ! Also the staffs are great ! Thank you Brian who partnerd with me to jump ! Thank you thousand times ! Where to start!? We waited for 2 hours until there was an opening in the clouds and that opening came and it was perfect! We hurried up and hurried right back down! My Tandem instructor Dan made everything run sooo smoothly and made it the best time of my life and I wasn't scared for a second! Anyone who is considering their first jump my recommendation is just go for it! I got the video and it was worth every penny its something i can show my kids and grandkids in the future :) I was motivated to jump by my freshman year high school science teacher who showed me his skydiving video and from that first day of high school on I promised myself I would go skydiving when I graduated and on Friday the 13th of August 2010 I did it! (Yea I said Friday the 13th!!) Overall best experience of my life and I am looking forward to becoming a certified jumper though Skydive Twin Cities in the future!! Thanks for everything guys!!! Tony Hyser from Crystal, MN I came on a Friday night in the rain. The owners were courteous enough to inform me that my scheduled video would not look very good due to the rain and suggested I either jump without the video or I reschedule. "You mean jump with no visual proof? You're kidding me!" I said; so next morning I was back. There were lots of activities going on all Saturday afternoon and families sitting in lawn chairs watching the action. Jan R. went out of her way to always make sure I knew where I was in the queue and kept me informed. My jump instructor, Brian P., took the time to sit with me 1:1 to explain what to expect and some of the neat things that I could additionally consider trying while in freefall. I was "strapped to" Erik L. who took exceptional care of me, despite my visible nervousness. I felt very safe and enjoyed my experience tremendously. Erik and I spent time spinning, spinning, spinning, like a windy tilt-a-whirl. That's what I get for being strapped to a thrill-seeking base-jumper, oh wait, am I a thrill-seeker now? I wouldn't do anything differently, and had such a good time. They say you can ask people what it is like, but you'll never understand until you try it yourself. I also had a great time with the photographer Karl E. Karl is fantastic at what he does and captured the entire experience beautifully, far exceeded my expectations. I would suggest the video package with no hesitation. THE VIDEO IS WORTH THE MONEY!! Good luck, and have fun. Here is my visual proof: NIkki 7-31-10 Celebrated my 50th birthday with a jump. I've been wanting to for years. It was a long wait because of the cloud cover but it was so worth it. Carl S. was the best! He made me feel so relaxed and I knew I was in good hands the whole time. His biggest concern was that I have a great time. My favorite thing was the spinning during free-fall. Luke was the videographer and he also was terrific. My video turned out great. Thank you to those guys for making this the experience of my life! 2026 County Road J Baldwin, WI 54002 1-800-SKYDIVE or 715-684-3416
Hi, I participated in the “Aging But Dangerous” event this past weekend. It was a wonderful experience. Brian Plosay was my trainer. I bet he thought I was a real ‘DITZ” as I forgot everything we were told when we hit the air. It is a good thing to keep reminding us of the signs and taps about the flight. He was so very patient as well as a talented diver. He had a client who was empty headed as well as experiencing a bit of motion sickness. He talked the entire way down, sharing his experiences and relaxing me. His patience and expertise made the jump a very positive experience. THANKS Brian! Bergie was my videographer. Again, a very patient gentleman as I continued to forget what I was supposed to do when. The video and still pictures are extremely well done and have already been shared. THANKS Bergie! Thank you all for a very exciting, exhilarating and mindboggling experience! Jane Smith 9-18-10 I jumped with you guys for the first time on a chilly Saturday morning. I was super nervous but my "best friend" for the day, John Polk, made me feel at easy and super excited. Along with Luke Evens, my video dude. Who was also fantastic. The photos and video turned out real nice. I just wanted to say thanks to all, esp John you made that day unforgettable. It was really awesome of the women on the inside, to be able to squeeze my super late friend into another plane. I know she really appreciated it. We also camped the night before and met other members of your team. We had a small bonfire and a couple of drinks, everyone was super friendly. I had a blast!! Thanks again. See you next year. I hope. Jenny O'Brien "Keep Monday open because we have plans." My boyfriend blurted out. Didn't have a clue what to say when he told me why. 2 days later, our first appointment was cancelled because of the fog. I was super bummed but the next day was gorgeous, so we jumped! So freaky at first and my adrenaline was surging (too much!). Didn't know how freaked I had been until it was over. What an experience! Wish I would have had the time to watch the next plane go up and find out how that group did. I think I really lucked out by getting Scooter for my tandem jump. She kept me occupied before and during the jump so I wouldn't freak out. Scooter has us newbies figured out! My boyfriend just jumped and didn't do any spins or get to control the parachute like I got to do. Very cool to do by the way. So glad I bought the video. It is beautifully shot and so are the pics. It was difficult to watch at first but now it is so awesome to watch myself just slip off the side into the wild blue yonder. The next morning I couldn't think of anything to top the skydive experience, so I went grocery shopping. :( Much more stiff the next day then I thought I would be. Dustin rocked as a trainer and a videographer! So go out there and request Scooter or Dustin! Gretchen Webber What an experience. I loved it. I went up on a tandem along with my 75 year old father in law. I was scared to death initially but you cannot help but enjoy it. After the initial jump out of the plane it was fantastic! The employees were extremely professional and helped to make it enjoyable. I will be going again, solo and my young kids that were there to watch it both want to do it on their 18th birthday. Smiley was awesome to jump with! Thanks everyone. Ken Larsen August 28, 2010. The Aging But Dangerous one-day event of 106 women ages 50 - 85, tandem skydiving. Not a single mishap or injury! Kudos to Skydive? Twin Cities owners and staff for keeping it going all day long! A shout out and my personal thanks to Dustin for putting up with me. He is such a good sport and an e xcellent instructor! It was the most incredible experience I've ever had, and trust me, I am going back next season when there is more time to learn the skills to go solo. [HUGE SMILE] Mary Sue Palazzari Thank you to everyone there for the great experience on August 28, 2010! There were over 100 of us jumping, and everyone in your office, the videographers, and the instructors were kind, patient and helpful. It was a great and very unique experience, and fulfilled a long-held dream of mine. Tandem jumping from 13,000 feet gave me enough time in the air to really savor the experience. And I am so glad I got the video, which was informative, entertaining, and professionally done. Thank you thank you thank you. Carolyn Everything was first class, the Jump Master- Dustin and Cameraman - Luke made me feel at ease like we were going down to the corner Pub! When I left the plane for about 3 seconds , it was like I was floating, I could see the bottom of the airplane going away from us. Then we picked up speed, unbelievable, the wind the pressure. then Dustin pointed at Luke taken making the move , TOO COOL. Then the chute opened and it was like sitting back in an ease chair, the only thing that could have made things better would have been a cold beer on the way down, that is after the chute was open! Thanks for one of the best times of my life. Watch my video!  Terry Kerska Hercules here: AKA Dan "Jump Day 07/24/2010" After a 2 and a half hour weather delay the time had finally come. My name was called and I met John my instructor. After a brief discussion John, Mike the camera man ( I think ) , and myself walked onto the plane. Of course I hit my head in the door way, but oh well, that really would be the least of my worries if anything worse happened. The plane ride was great as myself and 2 friends accompanied by our instructors and camera men traveled to the jump site. All of a sudden the door was opened and there it was, 13000 feet of air and space between me and my destination. WOW what a rush as I saw 2 solo divers leap out of the plane and then the first of my friends, Kelli, moved to the door and with a moments notice was sent out the door. Ten seconds later my second friend, Rondi, was sitting on the edge with me in close pursuit behind her. and all of a sudden with her head back, she and her instructor leaned out and were floating away. Then my turn! John and I moved towards the door, stuck my feet out, bent my knees, held the straps of my harness, and let go of the plane. At that time, no turning back. Yowza and at the count of ready, set, go, went into the wild blue yonder. The first 4 seconds as I saw from the video were simply described by one word: WWWWWWOOOOOO. Then with a tap on the shoulder and arms out, I began to fly. What a sight, seeing Mike the camera guy, the clouds, and feeling the wind during freefall. Those 60 seconds were another wonder that will really be remembered. After that, the shute opened and the next adventure began by doing spirals to the left and then the right. What a thrill in seeing all the wondrous sites that can be only be seen by flying through the air. Then to my amazement, the ground approached, feet up, and had a picture perfect landing by John with me in tow. I was almost speechless, but Hercules Got His Fly On. What a great day and a great jump! Thanks to John for the incredible flight and to Mike the camera guy who made this something really to remember. I would recommend this to everyone. Dan Lake "Jump Day - 07.18.2010 Waiting for clouds was rough! Fortunately the clouds broke up and it turned out to be a beautiful day! You weren't kidding when you said that once the clouds break things move along quickly. Couldn't ask for a better tandem instructor than Gene. Felt totally safe the entire time. Until the moment we got ready to jump he was continually making sure I knew what he was going to be doing and that I was thinking about the things I needed to do...which wasn't much except to enjoy the ride! Gene seemed to be having fun and that made it even more fun for me. I'm guessing that's just part of his job, to make it fun? Not sure if that's the case, but either way...so be it! Had a blast! When I jump again, hopefully Gene will be there so I can learn more from him. First few seconds out the door are so hard to explain. First time I've ever jumped and falling was such a strange new feeling. It just felt like my body was questioning itself! haha! But we quickly leveled out and freefall was amazing! Was told that I could play with the camera during freefall but I think the shock of this new experience held me to smiles and howls! Woo-hoo! When it came time to deploy the canopy I was honestly a little bummed that freefall had to end. What a rush! However, cruising around parachute-style was another great aspect of the experience. Gene was pointing out other jumpers above us and teaching me a little about how to operate the canopy. So peaceful in the sky! When we landed I could feel the adrenaline pumping through my body! Awesome 1st time experience! I would recommend Skydive Twin Cities to anyone. You all run a great operation and I look forward to jumping with you again in the future. Would also like to give a shout out to Dustin for his excellent camera work. Glad he joined us! The video is really well done - hats off to the editing crew. Excellent music selection, and the still shots are sweet! Such a wonderful package to remember the day. Thanks Skydive Twin Cities!" Sincerely, Matthew Isbell "It was June 29, 2010 when I arrived in Baldwin for the experience of a lifetime. I wanted to skydive before I turned 50 which will be in a few months. When I arrived I enjoyed taking in the photos all over the walls, watching others get ready and watch others land gracefully after their jumps. My instructor, Scooter, made me feel very relaxed and totally prepared me for each step. I was the last one to board the plane which meant I would be the first out. When we arrived at 13,000 feet, which seemed to take just minutes, I was completely ready. I looked out and saw downtown Minneapolis and the Metrodome. What a sight!! When it was time to leave the plane, Scooter, had completely prepared me and off we went into the sky. It was an amazing experience to freefall, slowly descend to the ground after the parachute opened, land smoothly, and finally the wonderful feeling that I accomplished something I had always wanted to do. A huge thank you to my photographer who caught every moment before, during and after my jump which has been a treat to show friends and family. Scooter was fantastic and true professional in this business. Thank you for the experience and some of the most memorable few minutes of my life. " Denise Kraemer " I experienced my first tandem jump on June 27th, 2010. My friend and I decided that because we were both turning 30 this year, we wanted to do something crazy and fun...well we definitely got our money's worth! Going into this little adventure, I was so terrified! I was pretty positive that I would chicken out at some point...but I am SO glad that I didn't! The staff at Skydive Twin Cities were absolutely amazing! Not only were they enthusiastic about their jobs, but they were so friendly and funny and made the whole experience so great! The jump itself was something that I can't even begin to explain. I have never done something that was such an adrenaline rush...it was absolutely AMAZING! The freefall was so intense, and once the parachute opened it was just so crazy to be floating in the sky! We lucked out and had a beautiful day and I was able to fly through the clouds...something not many people can say they've done. My instructor was "Scooter" and she was so great! She was so patient with me and helped to calm my nerves (well, as much as my nerves could be calmed). And Kerry did an awesome job capturing all of it on video and in pictures...a special thanks to Scooter and Kerry for making this whole experience such a great one! I would definitely recommend Skydive Twin Cities to anyone! And I hope that I will be able to do a second jump sometime in the future!" Thanks so much, Jessica Zigan " Just watch the movie: ! I put it on YouTube: FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!! One of the highlights in my career as a humanbeing on this planet :-)" Johan Runderkamp "I experienced my first tandem jump on Saturday, May 15th with seven of my closest family and friends. I could not have asked for a better 30th birthday. What an experience! You did an amazing job capturing the moment and all of our tandem instructors were fantastic, making jokes and ensuring everyone was excited for their first jump. The plane ride to 13k feet was oddly peaceful. No one was nervous, and everyone's excitement rose when the light came on to open the door. What a rush! I was the last one out of the plane. It was the best experience to see the solo jumpers and then my family and friends disappear out the door! As I sat at the door getting ready to jump my only thought was how am I not going to run into that wing? Thanks John for capturing my first jump on video. The video/photos are absolutely awesome! Thank you Byron for making this one of the most memorable days of my life and for turning our backs to the wind!!"                       "I did my first tandem jump yesterday on Apr 17, 2010. I have been wanting to try skydiving for a year and I signed up this year. All my friends thought that I                       was crazy to do this! I was a bit nervous when I arrived, but then my instructor Byron was patient, professional and humorous. He explained to me what                       needed to be done and we had a smooth jump and landing.  I could not ask for more and would not have done my first jump without him. You guys are                       amazing and I had an awesome experience! I would definitely come back again and recommend Skydive Twin Cities!!" Thanks, Priya
