Founded in 1975, the Dropzone is run by Kerry McCauley, who began skydiving in 1986 and John Bucsko who began skydiving in 1980. Combined they have been skydiving for over 50 years and made over 27,000 skydives.  Skydive Twin Cities hosts a meticulously maintained skydiving aircraft, the DeHavilland Super Twin Otter.  The DeHavilland Super Twin Otter is a fast climbing turbine skydiving aircraft.  It is a favorite with experienced skydivers because of it’s fast climbing ability, large capacity of 23 skydivers, comfortable cabin, and easy, large exit door. For those making their first parachute jump, or as an experienced jumper, Skydive Twin Cities is recognized as the premier skydiving center in the Midwest. Skydive Twin Cities has the best and most experienced instructors available for both Tandem and AFF (Accelerated Freefall) skydives, with an average of over 3,000 skydives each!
